We are delighted to announce that the opening times have been lengthened to give everyone a couple of extra hours to experience the fun, eclectic vibrant atmosphere, sample delicious food from around the world and dance and sing to international acts on the festival’s three stages. The site will open at 11am, with the first acts taking to the stage at 12pm. The main stage will have performances until 10pm.
It really is a festival for all the family, young and old, to come and relax, soak up the colourful sites, try new things at workshop and enjoy the cultural diversity of the event.
Sponsor the Mela or book a stall
We are now inviting businesses to sponsor the event, and benefit from reaching up to 30,000 people on the day by sponsoring a stage, having banners on site and bringing an information stall. The footfall is like no other day in the city, giving your business great exposure, while you support the cultural scene of Southampton.
If you run an outdoor catering business, have a retail shop, information stand or an arts or crafts business you can book a stall at the mela.
