Festival Highlights:
- Mela Parade: Don’t miss the colourful Mela Parade, a spectacular procession that will kick off the festivities from WestQuay at 12:30 with a burst of energy and tradition, dancing and drumming all the way to Hoglands Park.
- Join the Grand opening of the Mela at 13:00 by Southampton’s Mayor, Dave Shields.
- Three Stages of Live Entertainment: Enjoy an eclectic mix of live music and dance performances on three different stages, showcasing talent from around the world.
- Workshops: Join music and art workshops, suitable for all the family for FREE.
- Shop: Visit our retailers market stalls for some retail therapy!
- Open Air Performers: Be mesmerized by open air performers, including circus artists and stilt walkers, bringing magic and wonder to the festival grounds.
- World Food Stalls and Drinks: Savour delicious dishes and refreshing beverages from our diverse selection of world food stalls.
